Renowned national swim coach Mark E. Schubert has joined Dolfin Swimwear as Director of Technical Development. An eight-time Olympic swim coach, Schubert will focus on innovation and technical leadership for Dolfin’s line of competitive swimwear.
According to James Korth, Dolfin President, “Mark brings to Dolfin a coaching record that is unsurpassed in the history of competitive swimming and will help Dolfin to continue to be a leading force in competitive swimwear in the years to come.”
One of the leading coaches in the world at the Elite level of competitive swimming, Schubert recently served as USA Swimming’s National Team Head Coach (2009 to 2010) as well as a coach for eight US Olympic Swimming Teams (1980, 1984, 1988, 1992, 1996, 2000, 2004 and 2008), including the 2008 Beijing Games team at which the USA won 33 medals. He has coached 26 USA Olympians, 45 World record holders, and 145 American record holders, along with 49 individual champions and 130 All Americans. Additionally, his club teams have won 70 National Team Championships.

He is a member of the International Swimming hall of Fame and the American Swimming Coaches Association Hall of Fame, and has also been selected as Coach of the Year by the American Swimming Coaches Association, the NCAA and by USA Swimming.
