“Max Chats” Catches Up With FINA Scholarship Athletes

Young Max of “Max Chats” caught up with several of the FINA scholarship athletes who competed at the South Asian Games this past February. The group of girls are part of a year-long FINA scholarship program, which prepares the swimmers for the 2016 Rio Olympic Games.

Swimmers have been training at Thanyapura, the official FINA training center of Southeast Asia since May 2015.

Take a listen to how swimmers Kimiko Raheem (Sri Lanka), Sofia Shah (Nepal), Pornsuda ‘Ee’ Viniyompong (Thailand), Aminath Sajina (Maldives) and Aminath Shajan (Maldives) describe the bond they’ve strengthened since training together towards a common goal of improving and having fun.
