McKeown 57.57 Nei 100 Dorso Al NSW Championship-Recap Day2

2024 NEW SOUTH WALES STATE OPEN CHAMPIONSHIPS

Durante la seconda giornata del New South Wales State Open Championships 2024, la detentrice del record mondiale Kaylee McKeown ha realizzato una grande prestazione per vincere i 100 metri dorso femminili.

Con un tempo di 57,57, la McKeown si è aggiudicata la gara di oltre un secondo a Sydney, facendo registrare il sesto miglior tempo della sua carriera.

La ventiduenne McKeown ha aperto la gara in 28.27 e l’ha chiusa in 29.30 per staccarsi da un gruppo che comprendeva anche la detentrice del record mondiale dei 200m stile libero Mollie O’Callaghan e la detentrice del record mondiale dei 100 dorso SCM Minna Atherton.

La diciannovenne Mollie O’Callaghan ha registrato un tempo di 58.71 (28.47/30.24) per aggiudicarsi l’argento e la Atherton ha superato il minuto con 1:01.42 come medaglia di bronzo.

Mollie O’Callaghan ha un PB di 58.42 stabilito ai Campionati Nazionali Australiani dello scorso anno. Ora al quinto posto nella classifica mondiale della stagione.
