MEET NOTES: Texas A&M Swimming and Diving host SMU

The Texas A&M men’s swimming and diving team will host longtime rival SMU in a 7 p.m. dual meet on Friday at the Student Recreation Natatorium.

The Aggies and Mustangs will be facing off for the 70th time in the longtime series that dates back to the 1930s. The Aggies have won four of the last five meetings, but the two teams have split the last 10 meetings with five wins each. SMU leads the all-time series, 43-26. Typically, a hotly contested college dual meet, two of the meetings over the past six years have been decided by just a single point.
