Meet Notes: Vermont takes on New Hampshire Saturday

The Vermont swimming and diving team hosts America East opponent New Hampshire this Saturday (Oct. 18) at 11 a.m. at Forbush Natatorium. The meet will be streamed live for free via CatamounTV.com.

ABOUT VERMONT
The Catamounts opened the 2014-15 season last Saturday with a dual meet against Wagner. Vermont won eight events at the meet, but was edged by the Seahawks, 161-139. Weaver also collected two individual victories in the 50 (24.15) and 100 (52.72) freestyle events to pace the Catamounts on the afternoon.

Vermont enjoyed one of its most successful seasons in program history last year after registering the most points (640) at the America East Championships in program history and tying for its best-ever finish at the meet with a third-place showing. Weaver and Feierabend led the charge at the championships, as both swimmers collected all-conference honors with top-3 finishes in individual events.
