It’s day one of the two day men’s NCAA water polo tournament hosted by U.C. San Diego. In the first game UCLA defeated UCSD to advance to the finals with a score of 15-6. The host Triton’s came out strong but ultimately could hang with the power of UCLA who was undefeated in conference play. Game two match USC against Stanford in much closer game. With :30 left in regulation USC scored to tie the game at 9 sending it into overtime. After two overtime periods the game remained tied but in the sudden victory period USC scored and advanced to the finals.
