Miami (OH) Travel One Last Time For A Dual Meet To Eastern Michigan

Miami University’s swimming and diving team will take one last trip for a dual meet this season, as they travel to Eastern Michigan on Saturday, Feb. 4 at 1 p.m.

The women last competed against Ball State, where they won 221-78 for their eighth win of the season. Ella Moynihan was the star for the RedHawks, winning the 50-yard freestyle (24.32), 100-yard freestyle (52.53) and 200-yard freestyle (1:52.34).

The men competed against Buffalo two weeks ago, which ended in a loss, 177-119. Lucas Brock claimed first in two events (100-yard freestyle & 400-yard freestyle relay) and second in another two (50-yard freestyle & 200-yard medley relay).

Eastern Michigan’s women are undefeated on the season with a 7-0 record. They have victories over Denison, Ohio, Toledo, Oakland, Wayne State, Tiffin and Buffalo and also won the Eastern Michigan Invitational.

The men have a 4-3 record after defeating Denison, Ball State, Tiffin and Wayne State. The Eagles have lost to Northwestern, Oakland and Buffalo. They too, won the Eastern Michigan Invitational.

Results will be available on MiamiRedHawks.com at the conclusion of the meet.
