MEN’S 100 FLY FINALS
PSS Record: 51.00, Jack Conger (USA), 2018
Top 3
- GOLD: Caeleb Dressel (GSC)- 50.92 *PSS Record
- SILVER: Michael Andrew (RPC)- 51.33
- BRONZE: Marius Kusch (TE)- 51.68
After taking out an early lead, Michael Andrew slowly began to fade as Caeleb Dressel gained on him. At the finish, it was Dressel who blasted a 2020 top World time of 50.92. Meanwhile, Andrew’s second-place time of 51.33 re-set his PB from this morning, good enough for 6th in the world. German Marius Kusch set a season best of 51.68 for third. During prelims, Kusch set a World #8 time of 51.54.
Harvard’s Umitcan Gures won the B-final in a 52.69, touching out John Shebat (52.79) by a tenth.
Difference is that Dressel gets real training, and Mike does nonsense USRPT. Mike would probably be significantly faster if he would put in some work. Anyone who has swim knowledge knows this.
I didn’t know Caeleb Dressel could go a 1:56 in his 200 IM or a 59.1 breast. You’re right, Michael Andrew, a 4 time 50 finalist with top 10 times in the 100s in the world currently, is doing nonsense training.
I think the corona virus is contrived. There have been way worse viruses over the years now why all of a sudden are we in panic?
Would love to learn more about what their weight session looks like
Excited to see how well he does this summer!
MA made me realize something important: Corona virus is a conspiracy to destabilize the Olympics. The master plan all along is to have them cancelled, allowing for the ISL to sweep in and be the hero, delegitimizing the olympic movement, and providing our alternative.
Maybe Grigorishin has more power than we think…
More probable is that Chinese started the Coronavirus to extend games beyond sun yangs ban.
Nailed it!
