Michael Andrew Breaks His Second NAG Record of the Night

Michael Andrew is one of the headliners at the Schroeder YMCA A+ meet in Brown Deer, Wisconsin this weekend, and on Saturday night he’s already broken two National Age Group Records.

Earlier, he broke the first NAG record with a 44.16 in the 100 freestyle, which broke his previous record of 44.73 from winter nationals in December.

On top of his record crushing 100 freestyle, he added his second NAG record of the night with a 54.80 in the 100 breaststroke. His previous record from 2013 was 55.43. He is on fire this weekend and has only swam two of his three events this evening.

His next event is the 200 IM, where he will have the chance to take down his third NAG record of the night. The current record in the 200 IM was set in 2009 by Gray Umbach at 1:48.08.
