Michael Phelps Launches “PhelpsMoji” App to Express Your Inner Swimmer

Michael Phelps, the winningest Olympian in history with 18 gold medals and 22 overall medals, has launched a new “Phlepsmoji” app to help swimmers and swimfans around the world express their truest selves.

For $.99 on the App Store or Google Play, you can add a clean-shaven Michael Phelps, a bearded Michael Phelps, a stretching Michael Phelps, or any number of other Michael Phelps’ to your texts and Tweets. Want to go out and roast marshmallows with friends? There’s a Phelpsmoji for that. Baltimore Ravens fan? There’s a Phelpsmoji for that too.

This service, created by AppMoji, allows users to copy and paste Phelps themed emojis using their normal smartphone keyboard. Eventually, they’re hoping to use it integrated like the normal emoji keyboard, though for now the functionality is limited to a “copy and paste” keyboard. Olympic gymnast and defending gold medalist in the all-around Gabby Douglas was the first big splash of this new service in the sports market, when she launched Gabbymoji (for twice the price).

See screenshots of the App below.

Huge fan of Phelps, not only is he a legendary athlete, but super cool person too. However, this is just getting a tad too much out of hand.

Roger Federer has much better personality.
Kinder, down to earth, much nicer to fans, never had any problem with law enforcement, done so much more social and non profit work, has so much nicer smile.

I have the utmost respect to Phelps demons and all he has, he is truly one of a kind. And just because someone already has emojis doesn’t mean it’s cool. Phelps is putting so much into the sport, promoting it and just reshaping it all, but this can be misinterpreted as just getting money from all sources. His facebook live broadcasts he does are amazing since it allows us to see him in real live and as a real person, however, the topics he talks about are not necessarily related to swimming. Granted, there’s a lot of non-swimming fans out there just asking random questions BUT there are a TON of swimming fans who take this opportunity to ask swimming… Read more »

I like the wide variety of Phacial hairs we can choose from. No one grows goats like the GOAT.

I think he needs to start his own airline company. The slogan can be “Fly Like Phelps”

I’m holding out for the new line of MP motor oils from Penzoil. Lower your viscosity like an Olympian. It is going to be magnificent.
