Swimmer of the Week

Jacob Montague, Michigan

So. – Grosse Pointe Farms, Mich. – Grosse Pointe South

  • Won the 100-yard breaststroke (55.02), 200-yard breaststroke (2:00.36) and 200-yard IM (1:50.71) in Michigan’s win over Oakland
  • Contributed to a first-place mark in the 400-yard medley relay (3:18.13)
  • Earns his first career Swimmer of the Week honor
  • Last Michigan Swimmer of the Week: Vinny Tafuto (Jan. 4, 2017)

Diver of the Week

Jake Herremans, Michigan

So. – Rockford, Mich. – Rockford

  • Won the one-meter (351.60) diving competition and placed second in the three-meter (356.32) diving event in Michigan’s dual meet against Oakland
  • Recorded NCAA zone qualifying marks and career highs in both events
  • Earns his first Diver of the Week award
  • Last Michigan Diver of the Week: James Ross (Oct. 1, 2013)

Freshman of the Week

Ross Todd, Michigan

Adelaide, Australia – Reynella East College

  • Won the three-meter springboard with a score of 369.15 in college debut
  • Recorded NCAA zone qualifying marks in both events
  • Earns his first Freshman of the Week award
