Swimmer of the Week
Yirong Bi, Michigan

  • Recorded six top-three finishes in Michigan’s tripleheader against Louisville
  • Finished first in the 200-yard freestyle (1:47.75), 500-yard freestyle (4:44.98), 800-yard freestyle (7:39.09), 1000 yard freestyle (9:43.82) and 400-yard individual medley (4:19.66)
  • Earns her first career Big Ten Swimmer of the Week award

Diver of the Week

Anna Filipcic, Nebraska

Sr. – Omaha, Neb. – Omaha Burke

  • Earned a pair of first-place finishes to help the Cornhuskers defeat Iowa State
  • Won the one-meter board (3:15.08) and three-meter board (328.88) diving events
  • Two-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree
  • Earns her sixth career Diver of the Week honor
  • Last Nebraska Diver of the Week: Anna Filipcic (Dec. 16, 2014)

Freshman of the Week
Maddie Hart, Penn State

Bryn Mawr, Pa. – Haverford

  • Collected a trio of first-place finishes in Penn State’s dual meet against Towson
  • Took first in the 100-yard butterfly (56.66), 100-yard backstroke (56.08) and in the 200-yard medley relay (1:43.52) in her collegiate debut
  • Earns her first Freshman of the Week award
  • Last Penn State Freshman of the Week: Monika Gonzalez-Hermosillo (Oct. 7, 2015)
