Newark, DE, January 31, 2020 — Middle Atlantic Swimming, Inc, in an effort to increase awareness of the organization and the sport of swimming within its borders, has released a marketing and promotion Request for Proposals. The RFP details what Middle Atlantic is looking to achieve as well as a timeframe for the partnership. Middle Atlantic would like to receive proposals by February 29, 2020 and formally enter into an agreement beginning April 1, 2020. Marketing and promotion firms from inside and outside of the Middle Atlantic LSC are welcomed to submit proposals.

“It just makes sense,” says Jamie Platt, General Chair of the Middle Atlantic Board of Directors. “We have a great swimming community of quality athletes, coaches, and officials who we feel can benefit from this. As a Board, we continually search for ways to be great advocates for our membership. This is another way for us to do just that.”

“This is something that has been on the Board’s radar for quite some time,” adds Matthew Sprang, Performance Vice-Chair for Middle Atlantic Swimming. “Through a strategic planning session the Board held in the fall, we identified the marketing and promotion, both internally and externally, of our athletes, clubs, coaches, and volunteers as a top priority. We are ready to take the next steps to make that happen.”

Parties interested in submitting proposals can do so via email to Matthew Sprang ([email protected]). Proposals should be submitted by February 29, 2020.
