Must-Have Swim Coaching Resources

At RITTER Sports Performance we want to constantly be providing swim coaches the resources so they can be better and therefore give their athletes a better experience and hopefully allow for better results too!

Whether it’s the Swim Coaches Base Podcast that’s closing in on the 300th episode, to creating the best online resource for swim coaches through The Hive membership and now connecting coaches from all over the world through the Mentorship program in The Hive – we want to help you as coaches!

With Thanksgiving coming up next week we thought we’d give thanks to you the coaches. And what’s better than some of our best resources – for FREE!

We’ve collected some of our most popular resources and put them in one place. Just click on any image below and you’ll be emailed a link to each resource, no strings attached.

Enjoy and we hope you have a great time celebrating with friends and family next week.

Dave Salo has always been a pioneer in the coaching world. Whether it was his early book of Sprint Salo or then coaching different swimmers that competed in the 50 Free and 1500 Free in the same Olympics. We were lucky enough to follow him for 4-weeks of training and have him explain each workout and his through process behind it. Get the workouts from Coach Salo.

When you think of dominance in men’s college swimming the question isn’t who’s first, but rather who’s 2nd after Texas. Eddie Reese has been the model of success and consistency over decades. We were fortunate enough to get an inside peek at their season and key workouts that led up to the most recent NCAA Championship.

Season planning is many times the most intimidating thing for a swim coach to construct, especially younger coaches. Listen in to one of the world’s leading physiology experts who consults with many of the top swimmers and coaches in the world. You’ll get the basics of how to put together a season plan or even adjust your current season plan.

Dryland is a subject that is often the least competent for coaches. This very subject is actually what drove Chris Ritter’s passion to start RITTER Sports Performance. And this was the first resource RITTER ever put out – the SURGE Strength ebook – how to perform dryland and strength training for swimming performance. You’ll learn the basics and even how Chris trained swimmers at the elite level in preparation for Olympic Trials and ultimately the Olympic Games. Download the SURGE Strength Ebook.
