Head Swim Coach Dave Geyer

“The team came through tonight with tremendous energy that really seemed to lift some performances through the session. All of our medley relays had solid swims and splits and that carried over into the individual swims. I was really happy with the resolve at the end of the session with both sides winning the 800-Free Relay. Those were some tough swims as many of them already had two 200s under their belt in the session.”

Head Diving Coach Doug Shaffer

“Today we showed some excellent progress as well as some inconsistencies – which is something I would expect at this point in the season. I am proud of Aimee setting a new personal best this morning in the prelims which was also the second highest score in LSU history. Both Dakota and Manny securing spots in the finals will give them some great experience. I’m looking forward to our first competitive opportunity on platform tomorrow.”
