The Michigan Wolverines have not raced since beating Iowa in Iowa City way back on October 4. However, the Wolverines will host the biggest meet of the weekend on Friday and Saturday when the Texas Longhorns, fresh off a victory over Texas A&M, Indiana Hoosiers, whose men’s team beat Auburn in a wild meet two weeks ago and another solid outing at the Indiana intercollegiates, and Louisville Cardinals, whose women were runner up at the SMU Classic, come to town. The meet will also feature Olympians and post graduate swimmers during breaks from NCAA action, making this the meet to watch this weekend.
In the ACC, following a solid performance from both the men’s and women’s squads at the Virginia Tech Challenge last weekend, Virginia Tech will travel first to North Carolina Saturday and then Duke Sunday for back to back conference matchups. Florida State and NC State will also pay visit to Georgia Tech this weekend.
Ohio State will open their dual meet season this weekend. Cincinnati and the Purdue women will visit Columbus looking to knock of the Buckeyes.
