This is a busy season for all college swimming and diving coaches, even those whose programs haven’t swam their first practice. Coach Leach talks us through his recruiting process and the different state and conference meets the staff has attended to finish off the recruiting season.

Some of Indiana State’s incoming recruits include: Cierra CampbellEmily BoomershineAllie Engstrom, Mykenzie Kostka, Jacquie Price, Emily Ratliff, Cori Taylor, Zoe Williams, Danielle Yagelskiand Katherine Minatra.

The team will be the newest member of the Missouri Valley Conference, which faced an exciting championship meet last week where Southern Illinois University took down eight-time defending champ Missouri State by .5 points.

As the university builds its program from the ground up, we’re giving you a front row seat to see the preparation that goes into a new NCAA athletic team. You can watch the first video in the series here, The Beginning of Indiana State Swimming and Diving; the second here, Indiana State’s Inaugural Recruiting Season; and the third here, New Indiana State Aquatic Center Grand Opening.
