Can’t wait for the Phelps comeback for LA Olympics….

First time in his career he’ll be able to enjoy low pressure underdog status.

He will say that it is so that his kids can see him race when they are old enough to remember, which will be true

But, It will also pull in big bucks/exposure for him as well.

200IM, 200 Fly, 200 free for relay chance.

Not sure that he can pull it off, but we would bet against phelps at our own peril.

Book it.

Re Leon’s chances at new NCAA records: with Ilya Kharun being a slight favourite in the 200 fly it isn’t that strategically sound for ASU to have Leon swim the 200 fly instead of the 200 breast, where they don’t otherwise have that many heavy-hitters. So while I do see a scenario where he is choosing the 100 breast instead of the 400 IM (which Kos is probably winning in absence of Leon), and breaks the NCAA record in that event, he isn’t gonna swim the 200 fly if ASU knows what’s good for them.
He could also choose the 500 free on day 1 instead of the 200 IM, although that (at this point) isn’t as safe a… Read more »

Coleman,
Texas not only has trouble with their grid during cold weather, they also have trouble in the summer with it when very HOT!
Look back at interview with Katie Ledecky for the last year or so, she has consistently said she has been focusing on 800/1500. Not a new statement from her. I am not sold yet that she will be close to her best times in those events in Paris!

idk still sorta hate to see her almost “retreat” from an event.

She’s the GOAT! But also uhh, not in this event anymore.

(I’m not saying I don’t get it and I’m not tryna diminish her accomplishments, do not yell at me for that. Yell at me for other things.)

She’s such a seasoned veteran of the 400 free, her silver medal in Fukuoka was very satisfying to see. She basically defeated Summer’s talent with experience and excellent race strategy. I have trouble seeing her not medaling in the 400 come Paris, and as it doesn’t have conflict for her, and won’t have an effect on her later races, I don’t see why she would retreat.

How is Santo CONDORELLI not the biggest story of the PSS? Dude is riding high with the Dallas SMU Mustangs and about to make his 3rd Olympic team for a different country.

It’s clear that Michael Andrew was training hard at the hotel pools in between having fun at the beach and other vacation spots. He’s here to stay!

MA was training at random hotel and country club pools over the NYE break according to his IG. This seems to work for 50free but maybe not 100fly. Piano dropped coming home on his 2nd 50

Coleman Hodges

Coleman started his journey in the water at age 1, and although he actually has no memory of that, something must have stuck. A Missouri native, he joined the Columbia Swim Club at age 9, where he is still remembered for his stylish dragon swim trunks. After giving up on …
