The NCAA released the 2016 Division II Swimming and Diving Qualifying Standards Thursday, and once again saw a huge change in the overall times needed to reach the championship meet.
The NCAA made changes to 82% of the division II time standards. In total, 61 standards are now faster than they were last year, while only one event is slower. There were only 14 time standards of the 76 that were not altered.

Any word as to why they lowered the B cut for men’s 400 IM but raised the A cut for the same event?
