Auckland, New Zealand’s Paige Schendelaar-Kemp has verbally committed to Florida State University for 2017-18. Schendelaar-Kemp attends attend Pakuranga College in Auckland and swims for Howick Pakuranga Swim Club. Her best SCM times, converted to SCY, are:

Schendelaar-Kemp competed at the 2015 FINA/airweave Swimming World Cup last November in Tokyo, Doha, and Dubai. She was a finalist at the 2016 New Zealand Olympic Trials in the 100m fly, and has been a member of the 2016 NZ National Development Squad. She holds 11 national age group records in New Zealand, mostly in butterfly events.
She joins the other members of formidable class of 2021 that have also made verbal commitments to the Seminoles:
