(NLI Photos) Arden Hills of California has six sign

Arden Hills Swimming, based out of Sacramento, California, has six swimmers who have signed with various colleges for next season. Pictured above from left to right are Matt Spallas (TCU), Maddie Johnson (TCU), Jake Struckmeyer (University of the Pacific), coach Brian Nabeta, Savannah Sellers (USD), Brittany Oxley (South Carolina) and Taylor Yamahata (Dartmouth).

Spallas will swim butterfly for the TCU men. His top times are 1:49.9 in the 200 fly and 50.30 in the 100 fly.

Johnson will join him at TCU, where she projects as a butterflyer. She’s been 56.1 in the 100 fly and 2:04.8 in the 200 fly.

Struckmeyer is a distance freestyler with a top time of 16:08.8 in the 1650. He will stay out west, joining the University of the Pacific.

Sellers heads to San Diego to swim for USD. She is a breaststroker who goes 1:07.7 in the 100 and 2:28.7 in the 200.

Oxley is also a breaststroker, going 1:05.2 in the 100 and 2:18.0 in the 200. She’ll join South Carolina just in time to fill in for former SEC champ Amanda Rutqvist. Read more about her commitment here.

Yamahata swims backstroke. She’s probably most accomplished in a long course pool, where she’s been 1:05.0/2:19.0. Pending the more complex Ivy League signing/acceptance process, she will swim for Dartmouth next fall.
