North Carolina’s Emily Rezac Makes Verbal Commitment to Towson

Emily Rezac, who swims for the YMCA of the Triangle Area (“YOTA”) Swim Team, has verbally agreed to swim for Towson University beginning in the 2015-16 season.

“I loved the energy and the drive that the team had! It seems like everyone has a great work ethic and devotion to the team. I look forward to all of the opportunities that Towson has to offer both in and out of the pool. I can’t wait to be a Tiger next year!”

Rezac is from Raleigh, North Carolina, where she is captain of the Wakefield High School Swim Team. She has been named to the All-Conference Team for the past three years and competed in the 100 fly at the North Carolina State Meet her sophomore year.

Her top times are:

SCY LCM

Rezac is part of a stellar class of 2019 that also includes the verbally-committed:

Rezac relayed to SwimSwam: “I would like to thank Chad Onken (current coach), Nick Walkotten (former coach), Jack Roney (former coach), and my family for supporting and encouraging me.”
