Northwestern Hires Jesse Moore as Associate Head Coach

Jesse Moore has been named Associate Head Coach for the Northwestern Wildcats by women’s swimming and diving head coach Abby Steketee. Moore will be assisting with daily practices as well as development, communications and recruitment.

Prior to coaching the Wildcats, Moore joined the Duke University swimming program in 2012 and spent four years as  an assistant coach for both the men’s and women’s teams. In addition to coaching duties, he also oversaw the recruitment program for the team. During his time coaching for the program, the Duke University Blue Devils entered the CSCAA Division 1 rankings for both the men’s and women’s teams as of the 2015-2016 season. In addition to this, 18 Duke swimmers to competed at the 2016 Olympic Trials in Lincoln, Nebraska. This was twice the amount the team took to the meet in 2012.

In addition to coaching at Duke, Jesse Moore spent two seasons coaching at William & Mary University. He was a graduate assistant during 201o and was promoted to assistant coach in 2011. At William & Mary he oversaw the mid-distance and distance swimmers as well as assisted with administrative duties and recruiting.
