NOVA of Virginia Breaks 13-14 800 Free Relay NAG Record by 6 Seconds

The 13-14 girls from NOVA of Virginia Aquatics have annihilated the National Age Group Record in the 800 yard freestyle relay.

Swimming at a team-hosted Senior Time Trial meet, the group of Grace ShebleCaroline ShebleOlivia Erickson, and Cooper Ackerly combined for a 7:18.96. That broke the old record of 7:25.00 done by Dynamo Swim Club in 2016.

3 of the 4 NOVA legs swam faster than their counterparts from the old record-setting relay, including a Cooper Ackerly anchor that was faster than Dynamo’s anchor by 3 seconds to put an emphatic finish on the record.
