I would like to raise the question of whether Ledecky will swim in the prelims for the mixed free relay. Savimg her best for the worlds she could easily be the 3rd or 4th best American in the 100 free.

Although I love watching Ledecky race and win medals I really doubt it …. there would be too much controversy for not putting the 2nd best American in the prelims.

Sorry, I misunderstood. If Ledecky is in shape for it ( which I am not sure she is after such a taxing meet), then for sure!

With Sarah, Katie and Katinka entered in multiple events, it will be interesting to see who gets the most medals.

Katie may get the most when you add in the relays

opps meant to say, she won’t win all 4 golds

As good as Sarah is, in my opinion she will win all 4 golds. I think we might see a upset at 50 free.

About Jared Anderson

Jared Anderson

Jared Anderson swam for nearly twenty years. Then, Jared Anderson stopped swimming and started writing about swimming. He's not sick of swimming yet. Swimming might be sick of him, though.
