I hope that Cullen Jones has a happy, safe and fun 30th birthday weekend celebrating with his “bff” Ryan Lochte in Charlotte.

He now needs to “turn in up” in the pool and in training on a consistent basis if he hopes to make it to Rio in 2016.

He needs way more than begging for attention on social media to get to Rio. That’s been part of his problem all along. Well, I realize it may just be my problem not his, and he may be very satisfied with his career. But I always thought he could have been Olympic/World champion in the 50 had he focused on swimming more exclusively. Maybe with his buddy Lochte in town now he can learn how to train harder and still have fun and continue the good USS work he’s been doing. Happy Birthday Cullen now get back to work! 😉
