“We wrapped up our competitions for the first semester today with a strong showing against the Tommies,” said diving coach Eric Sprague. “We struggled a little getting used to the equipment and environment but settled in nicely after the 3-meter event.  Darby led the way for us on the women’s side today with wins on both boards. Watching Reece put together a solid 1-meter list today and finish runner-up was fun to watch, she missed all of last season due to injury and this was her first travel meet in almost two years.”

“Ian led our men again today and was less than 5 points from that Zone score on 1 meter. It’s frustrating to get this close without clearing the 300-point mark but we’ll continue to grind through.  Congrats to David Goodwin, he had an impressive 1-meter list today with a great finishing dive.”

The Mavericks will take a break from the action and be back Jan. 19 for a road meet at Saint Louis University.
