Girls’ 200 Medley Relay – Timed Final

Palo Alto Stanford Aquatics started off the West meet with a speedy 1:39.63 in the girls’ 200 medley relay from Chloe Isleta (25.33), Grace Zhao (27.25), Isabelle Henig (2398), and Brooke Schaffer (23.07). Crow Canyon Country Club (Gianna Garcia, Zoie Hartman, Maddie Murphy, and Izzy Barattolo) was a second back with 1:40.66, while Scottsdale Aquatic Club (Emma Broome, Ally Yancy, Emma Segneri, and Taylor Ruck) ran a distant third in 1:42.23.

Despite an anchor leg of 22.13 from Katie Drabot, Ozaukee Aquatics (Autumn Haebig, Ally Silvestri, Skylar Fore, and Drabot) just missed the podium with a 1:42.28 for fourth. Davis Arden Racing Team (Kailee Nabeta, Halladay Kinsey, Lizzie Menzmer, and Amalie Fackenthal) took fifth in 1:42.51.

Santa Clara Swim Club (1:43.08), Fort Collins Area Swim Team (1:43.10), and Kansas City Blazers (1:43.43) rounded out the top eight.

Girls’ 800 Free Relay – Timed Final

Ozaukee blasted a 7:16.19 in the 800 free relay, though, to ascend to the top of the podium. Fore (1:48.92), Haebig (1:50.14), Mallory Fox (1:51.76), and Drabot (1:45.37) combined for the win, more than 4 seconds ahead of Scottsdale (Shae Nicolaisen, Natalia Jaspeado, Jocelyn Wang, and Ruck), second with 7:20.37. SAC was only .03 in front of Austin Swim Club (Kendall Shields, Maggie Jukes, Dakota Luther, and Diana Dunn).

Davis Arden Racing Team (7:20.68), Crow Canyon (7:21.92), Nitro (7:22.50), Kansas City Blazers (7:22.69), and The Woodlands Swim Team (7:25.74) comprised the remaining top eight.

Boys’ 200 Medley Relay – Timed Final

Benjamin Ho (22.37), Jeremy Babinet (24.23), Joe Molinari (21.53), and Albert Gwo (19.90) of Palo Alto Stanford Aquatics opened the meet on the boys’ side with a 1:28.03 victory in the 200 medley relay. Scottsdale Aquatic Club’s Ryan Hoffer (21.20), Jack Blake (25.36), Sebastian Gutierrez (22.19), and Ray Van Deusen (20.65) came in second with 1:29.40, beating King Aquatic Club’s Thomas Anderson (22.07), Mitch Hovis (25.45), Dale Williams (22.58), and Kevin Dang (20.58) by 1.28 seconds.

North Texas Nadadores (1:31.49) took fourth ahead of PASA-B (1:31.74), Nitro (1:31.83), Sierra Marlins (1:31.87), and Nitro-B (1:32.52).

Boys’ 800 Free Relay – Timed Final

Nitro Swimming broke the Junior Nationals meet record in the 4×200 free relay with an excellent four legs from Coran Rawls (1:38.38), Sean Grieshop (1:36.30), Micah Slaton (1:40.18), and Taylor Abbott (1:38.02), for a combined 6:32.88. Palo Alto Stanford went 6:34.67 for the silver, and North Texas Nadadores earned the bronze with 6:36.91.

Ryan Hoffer went a best-by-2.2 leadoff 200 free of 1:37.00 on Scottsdale’s fourth-place relay (6:38.09). Sierra Marlins went 6:39.86 for fifth, followed by Irvine Novaquatics (6:40.68), Nitro-B (6:42.25), and Austin Swim Club (6:42.33).

Hoffer is a beast in short course thanks to his monster underwaters.
Very powerful for his age too.
Andrew has a rival this week.
The 50 free and 100 fly finals are gonna be explosive!

Hoffer lead off with a 21.2? Good lord that’s quick, that would lead off almost every NCAA relay. His 100 back might be massive.

Fifteen-year-olds Irvine Novaquatics anchors Owen Kao and Hunter Hitchens had solid 50 freestyle swims on the 4 x 50 considering their age, clocking in at 21.20 and 21.31.
