Additional Winners
- We reported how Sara Franceschi scored a new Italian national record in the 200m IM, hitting a time of 2:10.05.
- Chiara Tarantino reaped gold in the women’s 100m free, registering a top time of 54.40.
- Alessandro Miressi led a trio of sub-49 second men in the 100m free. Miressi led the field in 48.61 while Leonardo Deplano snagged silver in 48.80 and Giovanni Carraro rounded out the top 3 in 48.90.
Did Anastasia Kirpitchnikova play at being Santo and switched from the land of the barbarians to the one of smelly cheeses ?
What’s the deal with Miressi? Unwell? Zazzeri swam very well after his troubles last year.
I think he’ll come around by the Sette Colli meet. As well as others.
Quadarella for bronze 2023?
Daniel Wiffen’s 800 split on Friday was marginally faster. Greg has the third fastest time this year not the second.
