Parkland Swim Club is thrilled to announce the appointment of Jeff Faikish as the new Program Director and Head Coach. Jeff brings a wealth of experience and a fresh perspective to our esteemed swim club, and we are excited to see the positive impact he will have on our athletes and the broader community.
Jeff Faikish comes to Parkland Swim Club with over two decades of coaching experience at various levels, including high school, club, and collegiate swimming. Known for his innovative training techniques, dedication to athlete development, and strong leadership skills, Jeff has a proven track record of success. Jeff is leaving a long legacy at North Penn Aquatic Club (NPAC) and North Penn High School as head coach. In 2023, Jeff was named PIAA swimming coach of the year after coaching North Penn High School to a PIAA state Championship.
Throughout his career, Jeff has trained 5 swimmers to compete at the United States Olympic Team swimming trials, as well as led hundreds of athletes to swim at Division 1, D2, and D3 collegiate levels. As recently as this past summer (2024), his athletes have qualified for USA Junior Nationals and the Toyota US Open Championships.
In his new role as Program Director, Jeff will oversee all aspects of the club’s operations, ensuring that Parkland Swim Club continues to provide a top-notch swimming program. As Head Coach, he will lead our coaching staff and work directly with swimmers of all ages and abilities to help them achieve their personal and competitive goals.

The club itself has a short history but a granite foundation that makes the future very exciting. In the brief time I’ve had with some of members they have welcomed me and my family in and made it feel like home. I embrace the responsibility of leading the Parkland Swim Club into the future and face these new challenges with confidence and enthusiasm.
You cannot change the past, only learn from it. You cannot control the future, only be optimistic for it. All we have is right here and and right now. Using the tools and experiences I have learned from my past I am optimistic and excited for what the future holds. Parkland Swim Club has welcomed me with open arms and has treated me with dignity and respect. I am eager to start working with a community and program that is so organized and supportive.”
Parkland Swim Club President, Bill Platt expressed enthusiasm about the new hire, stating, “Hiring Jeff Faikish was a no-brainer. The Faikish name is strong in Middle Atlantic Swimming and especially in Pennsylvania. His swimming background, coaching experience and curriculum are exemplary. I have gotten to know Jeff and his wife Jordan and am thoroughly impressed with their commitment to family and swimming. Jeff is a Coach who strives to bring the best out of every athlete he coaches. He makes his assistant coaches better. He makes our Program better. With Coach Faikish at the helm, the PSC future is very bright”.
To celebrate Jeff Faikish’s arrival, Parkland Swim Club will host a meet-and-greet event with their membership to be announced soon. The event will provide an opportunity for club members, parents, and the community to meet Jeff and learn more about his vision for the future of the club.
