PASA Breaststroker Stefanie Ting Verbally Commits to Columbia

Stefanie Ting, a USA Swimming Scholastic All-American from Saratoga, California, has made a verbal commitment to the application process at Columbia University.*

Ting is a senior at Saratoga High School, whom she helped to a 15th-place finish at the 2016 CIF-Central Coast Section Swimming & Diving Championships. Ting scored sixth in the 100 breast (1:04.36) and swam the breaststroke leg (28.97) of Saratoga’s 200 medley relay. She also competed in the 200 IM (20th) and was on the 400 free relay (19th).

Ting swims year-round for Palo Alto Stanford Aquatics. She was a finalist in the 100m breast and also competed in the 200m breast and 200m IM at the Stanford Futures this past summer. Her best times are:
