The Peddie School, along with traditional rivals Germantown Academy and Mercersburg, is one of the most tradition rich prep swimming teams in the US. That tradition continues today, where the school has won four out of the last five boys Eastern Interscholastic Swimming and Diving Championships.
The school can count among it’s swimming alumni eight olympians, including four from the US. The most recent swimming alumni to make an Olympic team was Roy Burch, who represented Bermuda in 2008 and 2012, with BJ Bedford being the most recent alum on a U.S. Olympic team in 2000.
The team recently used the winter holiday to leave the frosty confines of Hightstown, NJ for sunny Florida and posted the following video chronicling their trip. Just as they did last year, Peddie utilized the excellent facilities at the Lee County/Florida Gulf Coast University Aquatic center.
Peddie will try to defend their Eastern’s title when the 116th rendition of the meet take’s place February 19-20th at La Salle University’s Kirk Natatorium.

Roy Allen Burch, Peddie class of 2004, swam in the 2012 London Olympics for Bermuda. Peddie has had swimmers in the last six Olympics: https://www.teamunify.com/SubTabGeneric.jsp?team=njpaa&_stabid_=43634
