The Texas Longhorns won their 12th men’s team NCAA Swimming & Diving Championship on Saturday, and in the process won 9 event titles.
- Will Licon won the 200 breast and 200 IM, the former of which was the fastest time ever.
- Joseph Schooling swam the fastest times in history in the 100 fly and 200 fly.
- Townley Haas won the 200 free and the 500 free, including the 200 in a new record-crushing time.
- Texas won the 800 free relay in a new NCAA Record – leading a field that had the three-fastest times in history.
- Texas won the 200 free relay, part of a 4-of-5 event titles start to the meet.
- Texas won their third relay in the 400 medley relay, with a new NCAA and U.S. Open Record.
- Eddie Reese won his 12th men’s NCAA title, which ties him with Richard Quick (former coach at Stanford, Texas, and Auburn) as the most ever by a men’s head coach.
