Philippines Announce 12 Member Team for the Southeast Asian Games

The Philippines finished sixth at the 2013 Southeast Asian Games with four bronze medals. They will aim to better that result this year in Singapore and will be bringing 12 athletes who hope to achieve that goal.

They will be bringing two athletes who collected three of those medals at the 2013 games. Jasmine Alkhaldi, who took the bronze in the 100 butterfly and 100 freestyle as well as Joshua Hall who finished third in the 100 breaststroke will both be competing at the upcoming games.

The full team will include:

Men:

Joboy Gonzalez, Joshua Hall, Jessie King Lacuna, Aldrich McKirdy and Axel Ngui

Women:

Jasmine Alkhaldi, Hannah Dato, Raine Gavino, Lily Jordana, Mira Santa Ana, Imelda Wistey and Roxanne Yu

Coaches:

Jennifer Buffin and Archie Lim
