The Polish women set a new national record winning gold in the 4×100 medley relay on the final night of the European Championships. The relay swam to a 3:58.71, faster than their previous record of a 4:00.23 in prelims at the 2023 World Championships.
The old record earned them a 10th place finish out of prelims at the 2023 World Championships. It took a 3:58.58 to earn a second relay swim, a time that the relay is now very close to.

All four relay splits were faster today, with the biggest difference coming on the breaststroke leg from Dominika Sztandera. The relay marked Sztandera’s second gold medal of the night as she also won gold in the women’s 50 breaststroke earlier in the evening.
Poland qualified for four relays in Paris, the men’s 4×100 medley, the women’s 4×100 free and 4×100 medley, as well as the 4×100 mixed medley relay.
