Power-5 NCAA Schools Vote For Mental Health Resources, Agent Reform

Representatives from the five major NCAA conferences voted this week to require schools to make mental health services and resources available for student-athletes, and also to move forward with reforms on rules about student-athletes relationships with agents.

ISL Statement: FINA Move is ‘Implicit Admission of Guilt’

The International Swimming League (ISL) has released a statement in response to FINA’s loosening of its rules, saying FINA’s move should be considered an “implicit admission of guilt” about FINA rules, and blasting FINA for “empty threats” and for copying the ISL format with the FINA Champions Series.

Liberty Tops FGCU For First Time In History

UC – San Diego Tops CSUB, Cal State East Bay, Loyola Marymount In Quad

The University of California San Diego women’s and men’s swimming and diving teams swept Cal State East Bay, CSU Bakersfield, and Loyola Marymount on a drizzly afternoon in La Jolla. The men defeated the Roadrunners (169-131), while the women came out on top against the Pioneers (150-114), Roadrunners (171-126), and Lions (154-106).

CSUB Knocks Off San Jose State In 153-147 Thriller

The CSU Bakersfield women’s swimming and diving team defeated San Jose State in a dual for the first time in Director of SwimmingChris Hansen’s tenure on Wednesday morning.  The Roadrunners won the final event of the day, the 400-yard freestyle relay to secure the 153-147 victory.
