Towson Tigers Set Six Meet Records, Roll at Relays

The Towson University women’s swimming and diving team opened the 2013-14 season with a resounding victory at the Potomac Relays Friday at American University, setting six meet records en route to the win.

Cullen Jones Diversity Invitational Draws 500+ Swimmers To Compete OCT. 11-13

Cullen Jones: “It has always been a dream of mine to bring the sport of swimming to a broader audience. The CJDI is designed to help support – and encourage – diversity in swimming by bringing together kids of all backgrounds and giving them the chance to compete in an elite event, all while raising money to support this important cause. It’s going to be a terrific event!”

Boise State Cruised to a victory over Rival Idaho

Aoyama set season opener records in the 50-freestyle (23.36) and the 100-butterfly (54.95) on Saturday. Stephanie North previously held the season opener record in the 50 free, and Amber Boucher held the record in the 100 fly. Boucher’s record in the season opener was 56.33 until Saturday.

Dubai Children To Have Their Own Swimming World Cup

The golden boy of the London Olympics, and already a Dubai crowd favourite, South African Chad Le Clos, and Tunisian distance superstar Oussama Mellouli will be on hand to meet the children and sign autographs after the Children’s World Cup races on both Thursday 17 and Friday 18 October.

Olympic Gold Medalist to Host First-Ever Cullen Jones Diversity Invitational, Oct. 11-13

Four-time Olympic medalist Cullen Jones, the Queen City Dolphins, and Speedo will host more than 500 swimmers from around the United States at the first-ever Cullen Jones Diversity Invitational (CJDI), a three-day, USA Swimming-sanctioned swim meet, held Oct. 11-13 at the Mecklenburg County Aquatics Center in Charlotte, N.C.

Swim Across America Gold Coast Swim and Kickoff Party Announcement

The event will include swimmers of all ages and skill levels. Swimmers may participate in a 200 yard surf dash, a 1 mile swim or a 10k swim. All the swims will start and finish at Spanish River Park.
