The Indiana water polo team completed their second leg of the Triton Invitational on Sunday evening. In both of their games, the Hoosiers trailed at halftime. Second half surges in both contests led No. 17 Indiana to victory, each by a score of 8-6.

The Indiana water polo team opened the Triton Invitational with a 1-1 showing on the first day of competition. The No. 17 Hoosiers began with an 11-3 loss at the hands of No. 19 UC San Diego, and followed with a 7-4 win over the Santa Clara Broncos.

Wisconsin’s Danielle Valley raked in another Big Ten swimmer of the week honor after winning the 1650 against Green Bay. Valley posted a 16:14.76 to land a spot in the National top 20 headed into the postseason.

Wisconsin’s Clifton Named Big Ten Swimmer of the Week

Wisconsin junior was named big Ten swimmer of the week following a pair of wins in UW’s dual with Green Bay. Clifton posted a 43.32 to take the 100 free and a 48.13 to win the 100 fly.
