Purdue’s Kaersten Meitz was named Big Ten swimmer of the week after her performance in their dual meet against Indiana. Meitz won the 1,000 free (9:44.58) and 500 free (4:46.62) in that meet. Diver of the week went to Northwestern’s Olivia Rosendahl. Rosendahl was also the co-freshman of the week with Indiana’s Lilly King.

- Collected a pair of first-place finishes in the 1,000-yard freestyle (9:44.58), 500-yard freestyle (4:46.62) and contributed to a second-place finish in the 400-yard freestyle relay (3:24.23) against Indiana
- Career-best time in the 1,000-yard freestyle was 10 seconds faster than the next competitor and ranks No. 6 in the nation, while time in the 500-yard freestyle is an NCAA provisional qualifying time
- Earns her first career Big Ten Swimmer of the Week award

- Swept the springboard events with a score of 317.63 on one-meter and 347.93 in three-meter diving en route to a Northwestern victory over Iowa
- Scores in both events are NCAA Zone qualifying marks, and score in the one-meter event was a Norris Aquatics Center pool record
- Earns her first career Diver of the Week honor and fourth Freshman of the Week award
