CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Queens University of Charlotte swimming program will host the ninth annual Fall Frenzy sponsored this year by Sheraton/Le Meridien at the Mecklenburg County Aquatic Center.
In total 15 teams will be in competition including Queens University of Charlotte, Bellarmine University, Catawba College, Chowan University, Converse College, Gardner-Webb University, George Washington University, King University (Tenn.), Lees-McRae College, Lenoir-Rhyne University, Mars Hill University, Pfeiffer University, St. Andrews University, UNC-Asheville, and Wingate University.
Swimming prelims begin each morning at 10 a.m. with finals at 6 p.m. Admission for the event is $7 per session (Includes heat sheet) or $35 for a weekend pass.
College students with a valid ID will be charged $3, while children 10 and under will be admitted for free. Anyone between the ages of 13-18 that has a current USA Swimming membership card will also be admitted for free.
The Royals, ranked No. 1 overall in the most recent TYR/CSCAA Poll, last competed on Saturday, Oct. 20 in Atlanta, Ga. against NCAA Division III power Emory University. Both the men’s and women’s teams were victorious, combining for 24 total race wins.
