RACE VIDEO: 2014 U.S. Junior Winter Nationals, Day 1, Girls’ 800 Free Relays

The girls of the Patriot Aquatic Club in Illinois won the girls’ 800 free relay with a 7:16.85 that concluded with 16-year old Reilly Lanigan going a 1:47.67 to hold of Y-Spartaquatics’ anchor Ali Galyer.

The full winning relay included Erin Falconer (1:47.09), Erica King (1:52.29), and Haley Nelson (1:49.69).

Best flat-start splits of the day, besides Falconer, went to Y-Spartaquatics’ leadoff Katrinka Konopka (1:48.17), Aquazot’s leadoff Sonia Wang (1:48.56), PASA leadoff Jennifer Cmapbell (1:47.35), and Davis Arden Racing’s leadoff Claire Pinson (1:48.30)
