RACE VIDEO: Watch Andrew Seliskar’s Other Race on Saturday, 4:16 in the 500 Free

Thanks to Dave Bell for the videos.

Besides breaking the national Age Group Record in the 200 yard breaststroke on Saturday at the 2015 Potomac Valley LSC Senior Champs, 18-year old Andrew Seliskar also swam a 4:16.17 in the 500 free.

That’s a new lifetime best, improving upon his 4:18.97 from this same meet exactly two years ago (to the day).

That makes four lifetime bests in four events so far for Seliskar. He’s entered in the 200 fly and 200 IM on Sunday. Personal bests in either race would put him in National Age Group Record territory again – he already holds the fastest time in the 200 fly (1:41.33), and his 1:43.01 is closing in on David Nolan’s record of 1:41.39.

This kid does not appear to need oxygen as much as the rest of us. Who throws a couple random no-breath cycles on the way to a 4:16…while dropping 3-5 dolfies off each wall?
