He is the huge talented sprinter the Us was waiting for years ! I am not discrediting Adrian , Feigen or Ervin of course ; i love these guys a lot . He is from another league defenetly .
I dream allready to see him on the 400 free relay next year in Kazan : Adrian , Feigen , Dressel + Phelps could be absolutely amazing relay team to watch .

To swim fast in the 50 free looking effortless require a special talent, and Dresser does/has it.

As I said elsewhere: Caeleb Dressel is from some other planet. I think we are just witnessing the future of sprint freestyle. He is much like A. Ervin in 2000. And yes, he cruised in the last few meters.
Not good news for Phelps if he wants to swim the 4Γ—100 free relay final in Rio.
Ps the jump he made at 1:00 into the video!

I noticed the jump as well and commented at the time about it. Quite impressive and graceful I might add. If he’s gonna write stuff on his face, he might try to find something that is water proof

isaiah 40:31?

But those who wait on the Lord
Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint.

he seems like a pretty religious dude, so that might be in. not a bad passage.

Perhaps I’m totally wrong but around 6 minutes 54 on the video, he’s on the podium and I read on the left side of his face 40.31. Perhaps his goal time in the 100 free in yards for the next 4 years? πŸ™‚

I could be wrong, but I think the 40:31 represents Isaiah 40:31, from the Bible.

Ah ok. So I was all wrong about the meaning. 😳 πŸ˜†
At least I had well read 40.31. πŸ™‚
But 40.31 is still a pretty good goal time for Mr Dressel! πŸ™‚
