Race Video: Women’s 200 IM Final at LA Invite – DiRado vs Leverenz

The women’s 200 IM final at Los Angeles Invitational was a classic race between two women who face each other regularly in the event: Stanford Swimming’s Maya DiRado and Caitlin Leverenz of California Aquatics.

Lane 1 is at the top of your screen. DiRado is in lane 4; Leverenz in 5.

Leverenz always seems to win it on the strength of her breast and hold on during free, but with Hoff and Margalis both ranked in the top 50 of the world in breast (Hoff-100, Margalis-200) as well as the 200 free, that strategy might not work.

I think it will be Hoff and DiRado in the 200 im for pan pacs and 2015 worlds 😉
