5 years at Sarasota sharks ?? Coleman, do you even follow swimming ?
Also how did manage to turn a McIntosh decision to train at Texas into her going to train with Ledecky 🤔 ?
If you watched the 22 min video she did with CBC Sports, you would understand that she wants to be coached by Bob through LA 28 and attend classes at UT to continue her academics.
In what event would Sjostrom, Rawak and McIntosh be a pick-em? Doesn’t have to be swimming.
I was thinking play the 17th hole at TPC Sawgrass. I wouldn’t know who to favor.
Saying “moving forward” several dozen times on the podcast is not necessary.
Also, gotta ask, exactly how many minutes was Brendan awake before this podcast? Wow
So the Big Ten was only about Indiana, even though probable the best drops came from Ohio State and, perhaps Michigan. I feel like I just lost 7 minutes I’ll never get back. A bunch of swimmers that were not developed at Indiana that are gone next year, so I guess they’d better enjoy while they can.
I miss yanyan more and more every day
Where’d she go
Has she gone back to China…
to interview Pan Zhanle?
NO mention of the FORMATION of AMERICA swimming, tag line “we’re not that great but we’re better than this $h1t… also screw you AAU”. Nevertheless we shall PREVAIL and my nonSENSICAL ramblings will CONTINUE!
I’d enjoy the bit more without that aneurysm over capitalization
If you READ capitals as YELLING IT would make MORE sense.
I think it’s almost certain a US Open record will be broken, with several possibilities – so it’s unlikely none of them happen. Here are some possibilities in chronological order:
Event: US Open record – Entries (seed time)
W 100 free: 52.54 – Meg Harris (52.52)
W 50 back: 27.12 – Regan Smith (57.13 – best time 27.10), Katharine Berkoff (57.83 – best time 27.12)
W 200 fly: 2:03.87 – Summer McIntosh (2:03.03), Regan Smith (2:03.84)
M 400 free: 3:43.53 – Samuel Short (3:40.68), Guilherme Costa (3:42.76)
W 200 back: 2:03.80 – Regan Smith (2:03.80)
W 400 IM: 4:28.61 – Summer McIntosh (4:24.38)
M 800 free: 7:40.34 – Samuel Short (7:37.76)

mcintosh wouldn’t have to set a pb in any of her events for a pb
That’s exactly my point… well sort of. If she’s even close to her PB’s, she’ll set a US Open record. In particular, if you’re betting that she’s not setting any records, then you’re assuming she won’t be setting any PBs, which is quite a dangerous!
I’m not saying he’s gonna go US Open Records, but I feel Shaine will be pretty good at this meet
I don’t think he is presently capable of the US Open record times in the events he is entered in (we have supersuited Peirsol in both backstrokes, Dressel in the 100 free/fly) buuut I think he is gonna be real fast. Like 50. low in the 100 fly fast.
I feel like we definitely see some PB’s from him. I’m in agreement with 50 low, his opening 50 of the IM at short course worlds was so fast. His Pro Swim record is a 50.8, I think and I cannot imagine him being slower than that
Feels like peak Casas at A&M was swimming fast at every single meet he’d go too and with Bob’s swimmers having that same approach now, it feels like he’s gonna be scary fast at every meet he swims
