Reagan Lutz Stays In State, Commits to Findlay

Reagan Lutz, who swims for Dublin Scioto High School, has committed to the University of Findlay.

Lutz is a two sport athlete at her school, having also played on Dublin Scioto’s field hockey team. She specializes in sprint freestyle and butterfly:

  • 50 freestyle- 25.60
  • 100 freestyle- 57.60
  • 100 butterfly- 1:08.40

Those times should allow her to step right into the lineup on Findlay’s team and the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. In early going this season Findlay has just had one swimmer under 26 seconds in the 50 freestyle. In fact, her personal best is faster than Findlay’s first swimmer on their 200 freestyle relay at last year’s GLIAC championship. In addition,  her multi-sport background suggests that she has a lot more to give if she focuses on swimming full time. Findlay did not have any scoring swimmers in the 50 and 100 freestyle last year, even though they finished a program high 4th last year.
