RedHawks Weekend Filled with Two Back-to-Back Meets

Miami University’s swimming and diving team is back in the pool for an action-filled weekend against Purdue and Xavier. Purdue will face the RedHawks Friday at 5 p.m. at the Boilermaker Aquatic Center. Miami then hosts Xavier on Saturday at 1 p.m.

The RedHawks are coming off a win for both the men’s and women’s teams against the Wright State Raiders. Miami’s women’s team beat the Raiders 190-51, while the men’s team posted a 131-110 victory. Miami looks to keep its streak up this weekend to potentially make its record 3-0.

This weekend’s matchup against the Red and White will be the season opener for Purdue.

On the other hand, the Xavier Musketeers have had two meets thus far in the season against Butler and West Virginia.  Xavier’s men’s team went 2-2 in the Butler quad meet and lost to West Virginia and Seton Hall. Xavier’s women’s team went undefeated in the Butler quad meet and beat Seton Hall and Butler, while losing to West Virginia last Saturday.

Final results will be available on here after the conclusion of the meets.
