Molly Renshaw took the women’s 200 breaststroke at the Scottish National Championships in a time of 2:23.96. Renshaw dominated the race finishing nearly seven seconds ahead of Georgia Coates who posted a 2:30.81. Renshaw was not far off her lifetime best of 2:23.18, which she recorded at the European Championships in May.
After winning the 200 freestyle on Thursday and the 800 freestyle on Friday Camilla Hattersley collected her third gold of the competition winning the 400 freestyle in a time of 4:11.46. Coates won another silver in this event touching second in a time of 4:15.71.
Ross Murdoch also picked up his third win of the competition taking the men’s 100 breaststroke in a time of 1:00.49 finishing just over half a second ahead of Arno Kamminga who hit the wall in a time of 1:01.24.
Kimberly Buys of Belgium won a close race with Kim Busch of the Netherlands in the women’s 50 butterfly. Buys took the event in a time of 26.61 followed by Busch who touched in a time of 26.71.
