Alexa Kutch, a 2018 NCAA qualifier for Drexel, won the 200 back in a new Pool Record of 1:56.20. Kutch is the reigning CAA Champion and CAA Record holder in both backstrokes. Last season, it took a 52.46 in the 100 back and a 1:54.01 in the 200 back to qualify for NCAAs.

On the men’s side, Jason Arthur took down a Pool Record in the 100 breast, winning in 55.54. That was his first time breaking 56 seconds and his first best time in the event since 2018. Arthur is typically known for his backstroke talents, as he’s the reigning CAA Champion in the 200 back. Teammate Stathis Malamas set a Pool Record as he won the 200 free in 1:39.59.
