Russia Beats Greece in European Preliminaries in Petras

The Russians defeated the Greeks 11-10 on Saturday December 1 in Patras (GRE) on the occasion of the third Game Day of the FINA’s Women Water Polo World Leagues European preliminaries.

Following this tight game, 3-5; 4-2; 3-2; 1-1, Russia jumps to the top of Group A with 6 points (2 wins). Greece takes the second position with 3 points (1 win and 1 loss).

Three more games are to be played on Tuesday December 4: Israel will play Russia, Italy and Hungary will meet in Verona (ITA) and France and the Netherlands will play in Chalons-en-Champagne (FRA).
